After learning and performing under the mentorship of the legendary Jerry Dammers (producer & keys player for The Specials and founder of 2-Tone Records), Michael spent over 25 years working as bassist, producer and music director in both London and Los Angeles. Within this time, he has worked with numerous high profile artists such as MIKA, Annie Lennox, Gareth Gates, Zara Larsson, Shamir, Mr. Hudson, Beth Ditto and the list goes on. Michael is also head producer and mix engineer for InQ.
Born to Vietnamese parents in Australia, Thanh Bui is a renown writer/producer in both Australia and Asia, amassing hits for international acts around the world such as BTS. He is also recognized as a highly successful artist in his own right. He penned, produced and released the song “Where Do We Go” featuring Thai superstar, Tata Young, which proved a huge hit in Asia. Thanh has subsequently worked with hit-makers such as Wayne Hector and Red One, and is one of the key songwriters for InQ.
Benjamin James is a songwriter & producer who started as an artist with his band, Bitter Ruin. The band performed to audiences across the US, Europe and Asia, alongside other acts such as Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Ben Folds. Since relocating to Vietnam, he has produced and worked with Vietnamese artists such as Vu Cat Tuong, Truc Nhan, Hoang Thuy Linh, Tia Hai Chau, Huynh Then, amongst others.
